September update!


Hi everyone!

Today I wanted to talk a little bit about my development. I had a very eventful day! And a very insightful one too. As some of you may know I have been working on this game for quiet some time! A lot of things have been brought to my attention which I want to mention and hopefully this will help others maybe too. 

I dont know if any of you who have played the game have noticed or if it was bothering at all:

- Some of the sprites are not set to correct size

- some layering issues

- not everything matches the pixel art style such as the font, some of the text in main menu or UI elements

- also I mixed some of the sprites which was maybe not the best idea

I used a lot of his sprites in the game. Mainly for the Overworld map. Please check out his assets, he does amazing work!

Also I think my games scope is way to big. I will probably have to downsize it a bit. I dont want to cancel it so I will be making it a bit smaller than I originally planned. I wont redraw stuff but maybe just have less places to explore. All the functionality will stay, the dungeons will stay the same, the player sprites will stay the same. All I'm doing is rather improving stuff and make it a retro style pixel game as it should be! I'm very tired at this point and hoping to finish within the next 2 weeks! Yay! I went down with the price just a bit! Remember if you purchase now you do not need to pay again!

Today was a very insightful day and I learned a lot. Lets get this game finished and also out to Steam!!
